This is a review for the hotel and the main hotel restaurant. Fortune Bay Resort Casino is a great resort Hotel up in northern Minnesota right on Lake Vermilion. They have a great marina and one of the top 100 golf courses in the country.

The rooms or spacious and clean, and many of them have a balcony. There is a swimming, pool, hot tub, and sauna.

The restaurant was good and their walleye Dinner was really well prepared. You probably need a reservation for the restaurant even on a weekday. We didn’t realize this and couldn’t get a reservation till 7 PM. Unfortunately, the bar was closed probably because they couldn’t find a bartender.

They used to rent boats by the half day, but unfortunately, it looks like they only do daily rentals.

We were here in August but it was good We brought a lot of layers of clothes. It was in the 60s and sometimes rainy with the wind. 30° difference between here and Minneapolis.
