Encore Boston Harbor - Everett

Let me start by saying that the hotel is absolutely beautiful with one of the best lobbies I've ever been in.

We had dinner at the Rare steakhouse, Red 8 the next night and then the lounge at Rare on our last night.

Now for the negatives, I understand this is a casino property for I have stayed at Wynn and Encore in Vegas in the past. Part of my intent for this trip was to gamble. My problem with this property is basically you're almost forced to gamble.

When we arrived we were told that our room was not going to be ready for about 45 minutes to an hour. Even though this hotel had an amazing beautiful lobby there's nowhere to sit in it. The only place to sit is basically inside the casino.

On Monday morning around 10:30 we wanted to have breakfast at the garden restaurant, we were told it would be about a 15 to 20 minute wait. Once again there's nowhere to sit outside the restaurant to wait for your table, so if you want to sit somewhere you either have to go back to your room or to the casino floor.

I mentioned this to one of the gentlemen working out front and he said he hears this complaint from numerous people.

So if the staff reads this perhaps you could put some seating in somewhere in that beautiful lobby and maybe some outside the garden restaurant.

And finally the location is a bit away from the main attractions in Boston.
